New Publications by Our Researchers: Insights into Policing Dynamics Across Europe

We are delighted to announce the latest publications by our researchers! They have contributed chapters to two distinguished books.

Wojciech Jasiński, along with János Fazekas, Giulia Lasagni, and Genevieve Lennon, has authored a chapter titled “Legal Remedies for Victims of Unlawful Police Stops: European and Domestic Contexts” in the book “Governing Police Stops Across Europe“. This book, edited by Elizabeth Aston, Sofie De Kimpe, János Fazekas, Genevieve Lennon, and Mike Rowe, forms a part of the book series “Palgrave’s Critical Policing Studies“.

Additionally, our Associated Researcher, Dorota Czerwińska, has authored the chapter “The Rise of Police Stops as a Public Issue in Twenty-First Century Poland” in the book “The Politicization of Police Stops in Europe. Public Issues and Police Reform“. This book, edited by Jacques de Maillard, Kristof Verfaillie, and Mike Rowe, is also part of the book series “Palgrave’s Critical Policing Studies”.

We are excited to highlight that these publications are outcomes of the POL.STOPS project, supported by funding from COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology). COST serves as the funding agency for research and innovation networks, facilitating collaborative efforts across Europe.
