Two new doctoral students have joined the Digital Justice Center team

We are excited to announce that two new doctoral students – Katarzyna Goclik and Konrad Kwiecień – have joined the Digital Justice Center team! 🎉🎓

Katarzyna received her master’s degree in law from the University of Wrocław. Her thesis focused on case selection methods, specifically examining whether social harmfulness should be part of the dogmatic structure of crime. ⚖️

During her studies, Katarzyna actively participated in several international moot court competitions, summer schools, Erasmus programs, and scientific conferences. 🌍📚 She served as the President of the Scientific Circle of Criminal Procedure, Vice President of the Scientific Circle of International and European Law, and was a member of the University Legal Clinic. She is also the author of several scientific publications in the field of penal sciences and has been recognized with numerous academic awards, including scholarships from the Rector of the University of Wrocław. 🏆📖

In the future, Katarzyna aims to focus her research on both international and domestic criminal law, covering substantive and procedural aspects, and further develop her skills through attorney training at ORA Wrocław. 👩‍⚖️✨

Konrad Kwiecień is a graduate of the Jagiellonian University Law School. He defended his master’s thesis on evidentiary proceedings before the court of appeals in criminal cases. ⚖️🎓

During his studies, Konrad was actively involved in scientific student clubs and participated in numerous national and international conferences. 🌍📚 He has also authored several publications in penal sciences and was awarded scholarships from the Rector of the Jagiellonian University. 🏅📖

Konrad is also gaining practical experience in criminal law as a trainee prosecutor at the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution. 👨‍⚖️

Outside of law, his interests include the English Premier League, geopolitics, modern history, and cinema. ⚽🌍🎥
