Kalina Romanowska

Kalina Romanowska is a Student Research Assistant at the Digital Justice Center.

Kalina is a fourth-year law student at the University of Wrocław. During her studies, she developed an interest in criminal procedure, international criminal law and the impact of new technologies on various areas of law. 

Her passion for international criminal procedure developed the most while she was participating in the IBA ICC Moot Court Competition. She focuses her research on the crime of human trafficking in both international and European contexts. 

In her first year of studies, Kalina joined The European Law Students’ Association, through which she had the opportunity to organize many events and conferences. She was also a recipient of a scholarship from the Rector of the University of Wrocław for the best students. She is a member of the Student Research Group on Criminal Procedure and the Student Research Group on Criminal Law, where she continues to develop her passion for criminal law in general.

Besides law, she is a fan of sports, music, reading, and traveling. Kalina completed her first-degree music school in piano and developed her interest in basketball while working as a basketball referee.
