Kasia Parchimowicz gave a lecture to central bankers on RegTech and SupTech
Last week Kasia Parchimowicz had the opportunity to give a lecture to central bankers on RegTech and SupTech during the Central Banking course ‘Navigating Legal Risks in Central Banking: Enhancing Governance and Compliance‘.
Throughout the course, she delved into the fascinating world of Regulatory Technology (RegTech) and Supervisory Technology (SupTech), exploring how these innovative tools are revolutionizing the way we manage legal risks in the financial sector. From compliance automation to advanced data analytics, it was all covered.
Katarzyna also shared some basic knowledge about the specific technologies used for regulatory and supervisory purposes, such as AI, cloud or distributed ledger technology. Finally, the discussion whether technology has mostly positive (or negative) impact on finance was initiated.
It was an honor to share insights and knowledge with such a dedicated group of central bankers who are committed to enhancing their everyday work.
