January 29th – Nowe technologie we współpracy międzynarodowej w sprawach karnych

? The Public Prosecutor’s Office plays an important role in international cooperation in criminal matters, where recent years have seen dynamic changes linked to technological advances. Technological developments have resulted in significant modifications, particularly in the exchange of information and evidence between member states in the European Union and around the world. These changes, while obvious and necessary for the functioning of the justice system, pose significant challenges for the prosecution service.

?️ Agnieszka Kępka, is a prosecutor at the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Lublin. Since 2008, she has been a contact point of the European Judicial Network, and since 2011 she has been dealing with the so-called foreign legal transactions. Recently, she has been appointed to be a trainer for the eEDES system, i.e., a platform for the exchange of evidence and requests for legal assistance (European Investigation Order). She is also a spokeswoman for the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Lublin.
