Wojciech Jasiński participated in the Annual Conference of the European Society of Psychology and Law

On 5-8 July 2023 Wojciech Jasiński participated in the Annual Conference of the European Society of Psychology and Law, which took place in the beautiful town of Cluj-Napoca in Romania.

Wojciech gave a speech on the symposium organized by Linda Geven from Leiden University regarding the European Registry Exonerations – EUREX. He presented Tomasz Komenda case, discussing both the reasons and consequences of Komenda’s wrongful conviction. The panel included also three other presentations about well-known cases of wrongful convictions given by Ulf Stridbeck (Norway), Melanie Sauerland (the Netherlands) and Nuria Sanchez (Spain). The symposium was warmly welcomed by the participants and we are looking forward to further developments of the EUREX database.
