Megan O’Neill at our Center
Between December 8 and 11, we had the great pleasure of hosting Megan O’Neill from the University of Dundee at our Center, thanks to funding from the Excellence Initiative – Research University programme for visiting scholars held at University of Wroclaw.
During her visit, Megan O’Neill delivered an engaging open lecture, “Turning the Titanic: Criminal Justice Cultures, Communication and the Digital Age,” in which she explored the new challenges that emerging technologies pose for policing and criminal justice. In addition to the lecture, we held a student-doctoral seminar at the Digital Justice Center, where our young researchers presented their work and received feedback.
This visit left us inspired, and we are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such an insightful scholar as Megan O’Neill. We look forward to continuing this academic dialogue, building new connections, and creating more opportunities for our students and researchers to learn from leading voices in the field.
