Karolina Kremens and Wojciech Jasiński attending The Future of the Anti-Fraud Architecture Conference in Luxembourg
On November 20–21, 2025, Karolina Kremens and Wojciech Jasiński took part in the conference “The Future of the Anti-Fraud Architecture” organized by the University of Luxembourg. This event gathered leading experts, academics, and practitioners to discuss the evolving landscape of anti-fraud measures in the European Union.
The conference addressed critical topics such as digital evidence gathering, cross-border enforcement challenges, and the future roles of European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) and European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) in safeguarding EU financial interests. These institutions play a pivotal role in shaping a robust and effective anti-fraud architecture for Europe.
Karolina Kremens delivered a presentation titled
“Between Reform and Resistance: The Challenges of the EPPO in Poland”. Her talk explored the complex interplay between national procedural law and EU oversight, highlighting the legal and practical challenges faced by EPPO in Poland. Wojciech Jasiński contributed to discussions and networking with experts from across Europe. The event was a fantastic opportunity for our researchers to connect with the Association Internationale De Droit Pénal (AIDP) community, including colleagues from Poland.
Special thanks go to Stanisław Tosza and the whole University of Luxembourg team for the invitation and for his outstanding work in organizing this insightful and impactful event. The conference was an excellent platform for exchanging ideas and shaping the future of anti-fraud strategies in the EU.
