Students from the University of Wrocław participated in IBA ICC Moot Court Competition
We are thrilled to inform you that in June 2025 students from the University of Wrocław participated in IBA ICC Moot Court Competition, which took place in the Hague, Netherlands.
The IBA ICC Moot Court Competition is an international law moot court event organized by the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies, International Bar Association and held in collaboration with the International Criminal Court (ICC), which involves the preparation of written memoranda followed by oral rounds of simulated proceedings in front of the ICC.
Moot court team consisted of 2 researchers: Marta Damińska, Radosław Rejmoniak and 3 speakers: Aleksandra Bodzioch as Victims’ Counsel, Kalina Romanowska as Prosecution Counsel and Aleksandra Sobkiewicz as Defense Counsel.
This international competition offered the students a unique chance to connect with exceptional peers worldwide, deepen their understanding of international criminal law, and gain experiences they’ll never forget. Insights shared by respected judges provided them with guidance and inspiration that will help shape their legal careers ahead.
During their trip to Hague the team had an opportunity to visit the ICC.
Special thanks to coaches Katarzyna Goclik and Kamil Sobański for their support!
Until next time, moot court!
