We are happy to share that Katarzyna Parchimowicz has contributed a chapter to the newly published book Comparative Financial Regulation (Edward Elgar), edited by Edoardo Martino, Hossein Nabilou, and Alessio Pacces!

“History and Convergence of Financial Regulation,” explores how financial crises drive global regulatory convergence, whereas non-financial crises often lead regulators to focus on domestic legal frameworks, abandoning international coordination efforts. The chapter also provides insights into why maintaining international cooperation is crucial in financial regulation.
