Karolina Kremens was appointed the Professor of the University of Wroclaw

We are thrilled to announce that Karolina Kremens was appointed the Professor of the University of Wrocław after a successful assessment of her academic performance!  

After gaining her habilitation in law in 2022 she continued her research that focuses on the influence of new technologies on the criminal justice process, a gendered analysis of criminal procedures, and the study of comparative and international criminal law. She is an author and co-author of numerous publications in the areas of comparative and international criminal procedure. The most recent publications are:

Karolina also participated in numerous national and international research projects including “Reasonable Search – Between Effective Investigation and Rights of Individual” funded by the Polish National Science Center (NCN) and “Knowledge, Advisory and Capacity Building Information Tool for Criminal Procedural Rights in Judicial Cooperation” – CROSSJUSTICE awarded by the European Commission.
