Digital Justice Center and Plain Polish Lab join forces!

We are thrilled to announce that on June 11, 2024, Katarzyna Parchimowicz hosted the first edition of the webinar “How to simplify general terms & conditions in banking and not regret it?”. During the webinar, a linguistic introduction was prepared by Tomasz Piekot of the Plain Polish Lab at the University of Wrocław.

Katarzyna analyzed the legal basis for the principle of transparency of contractual templates and analyzed the simplified terms & conditions by Santander Bank Polska, Bank Millennium, Credit Agricole Bank Polska S.A. and mBank S.A. from the perspective of potential legal problems. She also discussed best practices, especially in the context of introducing such change and communicating it to customers.
