Karolina Kremens returned from her research exchange to Canada!

She is back! Head of our Digital Justice Center prof. Karolina Kremens returned from her research exchange to Canada. She spent one year (1.09.2022-31.08.2023) as a Visiting Professor at the Common Law Section of the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa.

In Ottawa Karolina conducted research concerning gender sensitive criminal process and worked closely with prof. Daphne Gilbert. The most important goal of this research stay was to prepare an ERC (European Research Council) Advanced grant proposal! Prof. Kremens was also working closely with the Shirley Greenberg Chair for Women and the Legal Profession.

The research was funded by the National Agency of Academic Exchange (NAWA Narodowa Agencja Wymiany Akademickiej) under Bekker program promoting international mobility.
