Michalina Marcia took part in the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Law

In June Michalina Marcia took part in the 19th ICAIL – International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Law 2023 (ICAIL). The conference, organized under the auspices of the International Association for Artificial Intelligence and Law (IAAIL), this year took place at the University of Minho Law School in Braga, Portugal.

On Friday, as a part of Doctoral Consortium, chaired by Michał Araszkiewicz, Michalina gave a presentation entitled “The use of Artificial Intelligence in criminal proceedings in the defence rights context” and talked about her PhD thesis objectives.

The event was not only the perfect opportunity to discuss conducted research with renowned experts in the AI and Law field, but also to visit the city of Braga which turned out to be very beautiful!
