Our researchers participated in the Kick-off meeting of Facilex project in Bologna

On the 27th January 2023 Wojciech Jasiński and Bartłomiej Jaworski from the Digital Justice Center together with Agnieszka Frąckowiak-Adamska from Department of International and European Law participated in the Kick-off meeting of Facilex project in Bologna. The project is financed by the EU and aims at creating an AI powered online platform offering access to relevant EU and national legislation as well as case law regarding mutual recognition instruments – European Arrest Warrant, European Investigation Order and freezing and confiscation orders (Regulation (EU) 2018/1805) – and providing automated advice to legal practitioners. The objective of the meeting was to discuss fundamental issues related to the implementation of the project throughout 2023 and 2024. The meeting was held in a hybrid formula in impressive interiors of Palazzo Dal Monte in the center of Bologna.
