Kaja Kowalczewska participated in workshop on “The Warfare of Tomorrow”
Kaja Kowalczewska participated in the 5th Young Researchers Workshop on “The Warfare of Tomorrow” (Nov. 15 – 24) at Minerva Center for the Rule of Law under Extreme Conditions at the University of Haifa in Israel.
She presented her research results in a paper “LAWS as a new iteration of the “thinking bayonet” doctrine – can the LOAC algorithmization contribute to the humanization of wars?” and discussed it with her respondent dr Yahli Shereshevsky from the University of Haifa. It was a great experience with amazing speakers, respondents, new and old friends, and GREAT food. Workshops were combined with a field trip to Ghajar village and Israel’s northern border to see the practical side of IHL implementation.
The program, details of participants and the links to the videos of the presentations are accessible here.
