Our researchers visited University of Cologne
Between April 27-29, members of the Digital Justice Center, Karolina Kremens, Wojciech Jasinski and Kaja Kowalczewska, held numerous meetings with researchers at the University of Cologne, Germany. At the research seminar entitled “The impact of New Technologies on Criminal Justice Systems” we presented the team, current and planned research, as well as responded to questions from the assembled professors and law students.
The official part ended with a backstage discussion (over a glass of Kölsch) about the research conducted at the Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Bettina Weißer and former director of the institute Prof. Dr. Thomas Weigend, and future joint ventures. Also, we had the pleasure to visit the excellent library and facilities of the Institute for International Peace and Security Law led by Prof. Dr. Claus Kreß.
