Professor Wojciech Jasiński won the Award for the Most Useful Book for Legal Practice
The title of the Most Useful Book for Legal Practice in 2019 was awarded to the book written by Wojciech Jasiński.
The awarded monograph is entitled “Illegally Obtained Evidence in a Criminal Trial. In Search of the Optimal Solution.” (in Polish: „Nielegalnie uzyskane dowody w procesie karnym. W poszukiwaniu optymalnego rozwiązania.”). This publication is the first comprehensive study in Poland on the status of illegally obtained evidence in criminal proceedings. The book identifies main problems related to admissibility of such evidence in criminal cases and presents arguments for and against their use at trial.
Awards for the Most Useful Book for Legal Practice were also given to prof. Agnieszka Frąckowiak-Adamska (2020) and dr Agnieszka Skorupka (2018) from the University of Wrocław.
