New publication of our researchers in Brill!

Our head prof. Karolina Kremens and our Assistant Professor prof. Wojciech Jasiński together with mgr Dorota Czerwińska and dr Dominika Czerniak from University of Wroclaw wrote a chapter for the book Effective Protection of the Rights of the Accused in the EU Directives. A Computable Approach to Criminal Procedure Law. 

The chapter written by our scientists There and Back Again. A Struggle with Transposition of EU Directives focuses on the level of implementation in the Polish legal system of six EU Directives concerning protection of the rights of suspects and accused persons in criminal proceedings.

The whole publication presents an innovative analysis of defense rights in EU criminal proceedings through the lens of a computational approach to the law. This book involves both EU law and national legislation perspectives. 

The book was created as part of the CrossJustice grant.
