CrossJustice Final Conference

Dr hab. Karolina Kremens, dr hab. Wojciech Jasiński, dr Dominika Czerniak and mgr Dorota Czerwińska for the last 3 years had been working on creating a system that will allow lawyers from all over Europe to check how EU countries have implemented EU directives on the protection of the procedural rights of the accused and what rights suspects and accused have in different EU countries.
They had been working together with scientists from universities in Italy (University of Bologna, University of Turin), the Netherlands (Leiden University), Croatia (University of Zagreb) and Bulgaria (APIS) and European Institute in Florence.
The project ended with a conference that addressed how to enforce criminal procedure rights in the European Union through algorithms and Artificial Intelligence. Our scientists took part in the conference.
