New podcast about a theory and practice of police stops in Poland<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Wojciech Jasi\u0144ski<\/a> and Karolina Kremens<\/a> from the Digital Justice Center together with Dorota Czerwi\u0144ska<\/a> from the Department of Criminal Procedure recorded a podcast<\/a> about a theory and practice of police stops in Poland. The podcast focuses on how stops are regulated and exercised in practice in Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The podcast is one of the digital deliverables of the project Police Stops funded by COST<\/a> in which the Polish team, together with 28 other national teams from European countries and Israel, takes part. Police stops are leaded by Action Chair Prof. Sofie de Kimpe<\/a> from Vrije Universiteit Brussel<\/a>. To better understand the theory and practice of police stops in Europe, the COST team established a European network, which brings together the different and contrasting perspectives of those who conduct stops, those who experience them and, finally, those who are involved in oversight and accountability. The main aim of the Action is to exchange and deepen the knowledge and understanding of police stops in Europe. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
