Tatars in Poland: Adopted Homeland (2024)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An English-language audio documentary about Polish Tatars\u2014a Muslim community present in Poland for over six centuries. Hosts Ewa G\u00f3rska<\/a> and Maurits Berger (Leiden University) travelled across Poland talking with community members, exploring who today’s Polish Tatars are, how they preserve their traditions, and what it means to be Muslim in a predominantly Catholic society. The podcast addresses broader questions of identity and Islam’s place in Europe. Made possible with support from Leiden University and the University of Wroc\u0142aw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
