Aleksandra Bodzioch<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Aleksandra Bodzioch is a PhD student at the Digital Justice Center. Her research focuses on new technologies in criminal procedure, victims\u2019 rights, legal design, and the use of plain language in the legal field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She graduated in law at the University of Wroc\u0142aw. She defended her master\u2019s thesis at the Chair of Criminal Procedure in a form of an article titled: \u201cThe standard of plain language in legal communication: Victim information systems in criminal proceedings in Poland and France\u201d<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She took her first steps as a researcher at the Digital Justice Center starting in 2023 as a Student Research Assistant.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was a participant in the IBA ICC Moot Court Competition in 2024 and 2025. During her studies she was a member of the Criminal Procedure Research Society.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, as a member of the Association Internationale de Droit P\u00e9nal (AIDP), she engages with international and nationwide legal debates and developments. She regularly participates in nationwide conferences, where she presents her research and perspectives on contemporary legal challenges related to the use of new technologies in criminal procedure.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a recipient of scholarships, including the Rector\u2019s Scholarship for the Best Students at the University of Wroc\u0142aw. Since 2024, she has been a scholarship holder in the NCN research grant “Beware Financial Stability \u2013 Reverse Engineering of Legal Threats in the Areas of Technology, Climate, and Anti-Money Laundering<\/a>” led by Katarzyna Parchimowicz<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond her academic work, she has been committed to the student community, contributing at the national level within the Independent Students\u2019 Association during her studies, as well as locally, where she continues to support the development of student spaces at her faculty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her free time, she enjoys horse riding, playing team sports, savoring good coffee, reading, and engaging in conversations \u2014 all of which inspire her with fresh perspectives for both personal growth and professional development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
