Research stay at the Common Law Section of the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Karolina Kremens had a one-year research stay (1.09.2022-31.08.2023) at the Common Law Section of the Faculty of Law<\/a> at the University of Ottawa<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Ottawa Karolina conduced research concerning gender sensitive criminal process and working closely with prof. Daphne Gilbert. The most important goal of this research stay was to prepare an ERC (European Research Council<\/a>) Advanced grant proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Kremens worked closely with the Shirley Greenberg Chair of Women and the Legal Profession. The Greenberg Chair, currently directed by prof. Natasha Bakht is designed to strengthen teaching, research and administration with respect to feminist perspectives on the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The research was funded within the framework of the National Agency of Academic Exchange (NAWA Narodowa Agencja Wymiany Akademickiej<\/a>) under Bekker program promoting international mobility.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
