Drumbl \u2013 &#8220;Technology as Cruelty in the Pursuit of Justice for Atrocity Crimes\u201d Seminar<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Mark A. Drumbl is the Class of 1975 Alumni Professor of Law and Director of the Transnational Law Institute at Washington and Lee University, Virginia, USA. He has written over 100 articles and book chapters. He is additionally the author of Atrocity, Punishment, and International Law (CUP, 2007) and Reimagining Child Soldiers in International Law and Policy (OUP, 2012), both of which have been widely reviewed and cited. Together with Barbora Hol\u00e1 he is currently writing a book called \u2018Getting Collaborators\u2019: Stories and Sentiments from Communist Prague (OUP, 2022), which hinges upon extensive archival work in the secret police files from the former Czechoslovakia. He holds a doctorate in law from Columbia University in New York, USA (2002). His work has been relied upon by courts, he has served as an expert witness, and he has consulted inter alia with the United Nations and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Wroc\u0142aw he conducted a seminar &#8220;Technology as Cruelty in the Pursuit of Justice for Atrocity Crimes\u201d.
